I don't know anything specifically re:Window World, but I can tell you this: Check them out! The window replacement world is filled with sharks. Insist upon references and check them out at BBB.com (better business bureau)and your local licensing board. Also, don't be misled into thinking that all windows are created equal. Do yourhomework! Windows cosist of four components - Frame, Glass Pack, Hardware and Screen. Each brand has a different spin on each of these components. Find out what is important to you and go after it. Remember, only the rich can afford to buy cheap windows, because theyb can afford to replace them! You can't! So buy a window that you know will last. Cheap windows will fail in the 5-7 years you are planning to stay there. You would be better off getting windows that will last beyond this period and that carry a transferrable warranty.
