I need to replace some 6-ft and 9-ft patio french doors. I'm getting conflicting information over which is better - vinyl clad vs. aluminum clad. I live in the upper south and the back of my house has southern exposure. I am concerned mostly about maintenance - fading, ultraviolet light damage, etc. Advice appreciated.
Please let us know the conflicting advice you are getting first. See a lot of people have special interest on which side they are on so they twist the facts. In my opinion they are arguments to back up either one but we need to know where you are confused at.
