Administrator's

Please note;

If you would like to be taken seriously on this board, and have your posts stick around, you might want to consider your level of credibility. If your a professional, let people know who you are, state your company.

Please do not post under multiple persona's using e-mail addresses such as a free hot mail account for this purpose. It just wastes everyones time.

Our strong suggestion, if you have anything of substance to say, is to state your company and dealer relationships. Let people know who you are.

Thanks and enjoy the board.

Administrator's

Sincerely,
WinBoard Admin

Hello Admin

I completely agree, and thank you for this forum... it helps sooo many people. My posts are always under "FenEx" but were orginally "Fenestration Expert". My email is FenEx@optonline.net. I have been involved in the industry for 24 years. It's truly a labor of love. I was a contractor for 13 years and originally from the Midwest (Chicago Area), and am currently in New York. These days I primarily work with contractors helping to promote premium products and exceptional service through consumer education. I am also very involved in the area of energy efficient products and building performance. Thanks again for the opportunity to do so here.

First off, I think you guys all work for the same company and or promote Schuco windows. I never tried to hide who I was. My name is Joe and I put my email address which was Jtulli@aol.com. My brother is Mike and he was under Mtulli. Any one with 1/2 a brain should be able to tell we are related and when it was asked, I said I was Mikes brother. You guys tried to make it out that I was some bi-polar nut who was posting with bad grammer and spelling and then would post again under a different name using good grammer and spelling.

I never said the Schuco window was a bad window. I was emphasizing what I thought was good about it and what I thought was good about Gorell. You guys obviously couldn't handle someone questioning your numbers and then manipulate the posts so others think everyone agrees with you.

You should just delete the board because it's BS and used to promote Schuco windows. PERIOD

Joe,

I think we all made some mistakes in that thread and the best thing to do is move on in the best manner we can. Lets all get back to trying to assist consumers in purchasing new windows.

It would benefit all posters by getting a sense of the background of the professionals who post. That might be a great way to clear the air.

Thanks.

First off anyone that read the posts cannot say I ever resorted to any name calling or bashing another product. I continually said that Schuco was a good window and was debating WN4 and FenEx on why they posted that Schuco wat the BEST window. I didn't agree that was valid. I was posting numbers from the NFRC site and FenEx did send me a link to a Schuco window that had a lower U-Value than I had posted. I responded back that I can't believe I missed that and that I must be going blind in my old age.

I also said in one post for arguments sake I will say that Schuco was better than the Gorell but with the price difference, Gorell was the best value for the money.

I don't think I did anything wrong and I shouldn't have to apologize for anything. When I joined the thread no one said hi I'm so and so from ????. I didn't signon under an alias and my email was Jtulli@aol.com which is clearly not a free account. Mike was going under Mtulli@hotmail. He had stated he sold Gorell windows. Being we have the same last name, you would think they woud know we were related. When WN4 made the statement we were the same person, I posted saying I was Mikes brother. I NEVER once hid who I was or mis-represted anything.
There was NO REASON OR JUSTIFICATION to edit or delete any of my posts.

Mike on the other hand can't spell or articulate himself well. He doesn't debate well and can get a little cocky. Even in his posts I didn't see him resorting to name calling. The only one that I seen resort to that was FenEx who posted good call WN4 I thought ingnorance was contagious when he thought we were the same person. My last post said Fenex there is no need to lower yourself to that level and lets get back to debating the window and value to the consumers.

If you have the original thread please email it to me with and highlite anything you think I posted that was inappropriate. If you can't find anything. I think you owe me a personal apology and not that there is enough blame to go around.

The term I used was accurate and should not be considered insulting unless it applies. Ignorance: "lack of knowledge or comprehension of a thing specified." I specified it and gave resource to support it. Your information was innaccurate and incorrect, and after being shown so.. you and your brother continued with redundant statements that were no longer supported by fact. I think you completely discredited yourself, your representation of the product you serve and attempted to discredit this forum. That being said and proved, You wonder why the owners of the site are removing your posts? You need to rethink this or find another forum if you see this one as "BS"... as you have previously stated. Make your points in a professional manner, but if you lose the debate, be adult enough to admit it and go on to further serve the nature of this forum. Just my suggestion.

This will be my last post. I could call you a lot of things that would be accurate but chose not to out of respect. Calling someone ignorant because they disagree with you is disrespectful. You and I didn't agree on which window was the best window for the money and how each window stacked up against each other.

Why have a discussion board if you can't handle an opposing view? I never was rude to your or bashed the Schuco window. I said it was as good and maybe a little better than the Gorell. I just think the Gorell rated better in certain areas. You kept coming back to the DP-50 versus DP-65. In the midwest, the house will fail long before a DP-50 window will. Thus a DP-65 really has no value here.

Ok I'm not going to get this going again but will leave with the following statement. Schuco, Gorell and Simonton 9800 Windows are very comparable and which ever one will cost you the least will be your best bang for the buck.

Well you have to love the way people argue even when asked to start over. Only in America.
Dear Mr. Administrator,
First off I would like to thank you for the opportunity to post on this board. I myself have been known to fall off the path and lose control. Usually I apologize and step back. Sometimes I know it gets pushed to the cutting room floor which is no problem. So I'm cool on starting with a new smile and attitude. I'm not sure about the others.
My personal opinion and bias's are based off 30 years in the door and window business here in MN. I've started at the bottom of the boat and worked my way up. I started out in the manufacturing part of the industry. Getting tossed into the Service and Installation part of it not long after. I worked for the highest bidder as time went on. This way I had the opportunity to work with all the old timers and new borns in the industry. I think I've forgotten more than most of the kids today will ever know. The past 15 years have brought me my own business opportunities to try and grow. I have been passing all my knowledge to my son who is 21 and taking over. I also do this because of my love of the industry. I also hate the people who are doing it wrong and picking at us for being to critical. Anyone in the business knows what's good and what's bad. So if the general consensus has swayed then the proof is in the product! I don't hide from anything or anyone. I've always posted under my first name. Thanks Again!!!

Guy
