Why does a private label bother you? Pretty normal process to carve out territories and exclusivity on a given set of options.

What kind of windows are coming out? Vinyl, wood, metal?

I just read the subject line while scrolling through and completely missed the Wisconsin part.

Performance wise, the Okna is king of that list. If you are okay with a vinyl or composite product, no reasonable reason to NOT use that product out of those on the list.

We still use Quad. Take that for what its worth.

Why are you settled on those two brands?

If its too wide for foam, somebody fumbled the measurements. Quad Max is just fine.

Foam only. Fiberglass is worthless.
There is no butyl tape requirement on a retrofit install.
Capping is standard in most cases.

What is coming out? Wood window given the reference to a "stop"?

Where is the home located and what were the different products that you were getting quoted at those pricing tiers. I am not sure why companies don't offer more than a 10 year labor warranty. Companies that install products such as the ones that you have chosen, tend to be equally as diligent on their installation protocols.
