Re: Which of these brands would you recommend
Agreed. Their middle and upper lines are nice. I still think the Okna is probably the paper champ, but you couldn't go wrong with Joyce either.

Would absolutely call AGM. Pricing is weirdly low.

Re: SOUDASEAL 50LM
Soudal is a well founded and engineered product. I think any premium sealant from any of the well regarded suppliers will work well here. We've used Soudal in the past with success.

Haven't seen the Joyce Trinity product, but they are a solid company.
Okna would be my pick of that list of the ones that I have seen. Certainly can't go wrong with it.

Ah. Casements. Makes the math a bit different. But pulling the whole thing is fine.

Why wouldn't an insert/retrofit be the way to go?

All pretty close and solid performers. Might just come down to what and who you like.

I would say they are competitive comparables. Anything else to add on the comparison?

Re: Provia Endure Balance Systems
I don't think I have ever seen a question solely on the balance system between two identical windows. This is a first. Not sure there is a "right" answer here. Both should be covered by warranty. The block and tackle system is more tolerant of dirt and more incrementally adjustable. Both a...

Re: exterior caulking a maintenance item?
We can definitely help point you in the right direction, but we are going to need some better pictures. If you want to email me, feel free to do so: enovotny@windowsonwashington.net Need more of the exterior where the capping meets the brick (sill and head) as well as the mullions between the window...

Re: Baywindow Install - Some Advice??
I would do a local search on siding and trim installers. A window guy won't want to come out and cap someone else's window install.
