Re: Wasco vs AllAmerican/softlite?

+1 The negotiating skills of the customer should not determine what type of price they get. By that math, the widow who has never previously contracted for a remodel on her home is going to get the drastically shorter end of the stick as compared to the used car salesman that owns a home. Is that r...

Re: Wasco vs AllAmerican/softlite?

gatoramal what are the differences in quotes you got between the two and for how many windows/type? I bet Wasco is cheaper. If I'm right this proves my point. No it doesn't. At the very most it would mean that one person got a better price directly from Wasco than they did from an independent contr...

Re: Wasco vs AllAmerican/softlite?

I'm not defending anything. I'm telling you you are wrong and don't know what you are talking about. We have people coming on here all the time who have purchased very good quality windows from Sunrise, okna, Soft-Lite and Gorell for under $500 installed. I have never heard of anyone purchasing a Ch...

Re: Wasco vs AllAmerican/softlite?

What's the point of a middle man.. to take your money for no purpose. Why do you think big companies like RBA take care of there own just like Wasco. There is no denying this fact. There's plenty of denying your non- fact. It's pretty obvious you know very little about the window industry or busine...

Re: vinyl replacement suggestions

I think you are misunderstanding. If you are getting moisture between the panes of glass, it's due to a glass seal failure. If you are getting moisture on the exterior surface of the glass inside the house, it's due to excessive moisture in the air inside your house.

Re: Best Deal: Soft-Lite vs Sunrise vs Simonton

You are looking at 2 really well made windows. My decision would center more around which company you felt would do the best installation and provide the highest level of customer service should the need arise.

Re: High quality vinyl window companies?

The Prism is distributed exclusively by Norandex. It comes standard with double strength glass and a 25 year glass breakage warranty. The Reflections come standard with single strength glass. You can upgrade the Reflections to double strength for about $10 more and that will give you a 3 year glass ...

Re: What quote is the best deal

I do not understand why you think that having 75% of the gas after 20 years is worse than never having it at all. The additional savings after 20 years more than offsets the additional expense.

Re: What quote is the best deal

I'd go with the Soft-lite Pro w/ triple pane and krypton.

How many windows are you considering?
