Re: OKNA DISTRIBUToRS

When you hit the "Quote" button in my profile it will ask you for a zip code. Since I don't have your zip code in my area on this system, enter my zip where my office is in Monee, IL which is 60449. Then fill in your contact info and I'll give you a call.

Re: Okna Enviro Star/800 series handle - 1 or 2?

I have different tastes than the other pros. I usually like double handles on windows over 28". All in what you like...
Just let your salesman know which windows you want single handles, which you want double handles on.

Re: GBG - what's the performance impact?

On pretty much all the brands I've carried it's been a .01 difference. An example would be a .26 with GBG grids, a .25 without GBG grids.

Re: Overwhelmed and torn now between Simonton and Sunrise

Good choice in my opinion, especially with the Sunrise being in triple pane. You won't be sorry about going with triple. Many of my customers take the time to thank me later for pushing them towards the triple. The comfort it provides is a plus for sure.

Re: OKNA windows in Central IL

Johnny99, My "Get a Quote" button is now in my profile over to the left so that you can contact me.
If you have trouble with getting the form to show up, let me know on here what your zip code is and I'll add it to the system so that we can hook up.

Re: Reverse cottage style windows

Windows on Washington is correct in that most Oriel and Cottage windows are 60%-40%. Most manufacturers can also custom make them to the percentages that you want. The only thing that can complicate the different percentages is if you have grids. The 60%-40% allows for 2 grid squares tall in the bot...

Re: elements really that good for the money

I agree with everyone else. Very inexpensive, especially with triple pane. I sold Elements for years before switching to Okna and that's a lower price than I could have sold them. He must have really low overhead.

Re: Okna 900/Starmark Screen options

You may have trouble with the half screens staying in the top position. They may fall down. I'd opt for the full screens.

Re: Do Manufacturer's Vet Installers/Dealers?

+1 to the other pros remarks. From my own experience, my company was checked out extensively by Sunrise, Softlite, Okna and years and years back by Schuco. My experience is that the better brands are the ones who do the thorough vetting though any window company will make sure you are financially st...
