Two excellent choices, I suggest that you pick the company that you feel better about, as you'll be equally happy with either product.

Gimmick or not most of the pro's that post here have pointed out the importance of AI#'s unless the sell windows that have higher AI#'s.I find it comical that you say not to go above the teens in AI#'s when a product that you recommend comes in at 0.19.It would be good to here from some other pro's...

Different locks and a few other options. Very similiar feature/option content and ratings though... Although I will say that it is the closest thing that PlyGem offers to a true exclusive... I like canuck's list except for park avenue. Its an average product that is made by Thermal Industries and usually way overpriced. I'd also add that Plygem Premium/ Great Lakes Grandview 5000 is virtually the same as the Uniframe.

Every manufacturer claims they have a great product, so I wouldn't go by that.... Im not particularly familiar with Alliance though, so i'll let someone else comment on that. As for the durability, its very possible for a window to hold up for 30 years, but Id fully expect technology to be advanced ...
