I agree with Window4u. I just completed the AAMA training, and it was a great way to compliment what I already knew about installations. Apprenticing to a vet. would be a good way to start though, so you get the basics down first. Hopefully the vet. you can pair with has taken the AAMA classes alrea...

My personal and professional opinion would always be to go with white. Thre reason is that white goes with EVERYTHING and you can paint the house any color you want in the future without clashing. While beige and tan will also work, they do have a few colors that look strange when side by side. Also...

I agree with Window4u. If you HAVE to have brown exterior, don't go with any vinyl windows that offer that. They do not perform well over time in the sun, hence the fact that many manufacturers who used to build them no longer do (service nightmares). Fiberglass will be the way to go, but it will de...

If you are looking for an almond exterior window with white interior (or paintable interior) and Comfort line is not what you expect, look into the Milgard lines of fiberglass. They come in 5 dif exterior colors with white interiors that are also paintable. Good luck and keep checking the posts befo...

certainteed vs. milgard
lbl is not a bad window, but the testing done on it does not accuratley show wind and air filtration. The weep system is very big, and allows air to flow directly into the house. Milgard has the better warranty of the three and if you want to be in the house for any period of time (over 5 years) go ...
