I agree that a younger company should be properly vented.

With pvc coated aluminum, one side is coated and the other side is bare aluminum, not painted. I would not use PT wood with any aluminum or else the chemicals in the PT wood will cause a reaction and corrode the aluminum. Don't do it. I was told the same thing Brandon. I was also told that using a triple silver can also tip the scale in some instances which is why some companies only offer triple siliver such as solarban 70.

I would eliminate the pella as well as the simonton 6100. The Okna is the best quality by far on that list.
What exactly were you quoted for Okna and for how much?
What state are you in, some brands are regional.

Because of covid there are supply issues and they are really having an affect on lead times. Then on top of that there is huge demand. A 5 week lead time is extremely unrealistic.

I understand but you are essentially sacrificing quality for the sole purpose of having a friend or someone you know do the install. You arent being “ extorted” by anyone. Neither are great or considered top performers or even above average. You can do better.
