product opinion

What is your opinion of window world's 4000 series window (manufactured by M.I. industries)?

Is it better to go with the foam filled frame or just air?

never heard of the 4000 by M.I. industries. The 4000 is typically the Alside Sheffield.

I really doubt WW is selling Schuco.

WW doesn't sell Schuco and their 4000 series is anybody's guess as their primary vendors are Alside, MI, and American Weather Seal. Locally their 4000 currently is the Alside Geneva which has a mechanical master frame, but next week who knows. The 6000 series in the more reputable WW stores is the Alside Sheffield.
If your thinking about the MI series you would be better off going to HD and buying the 9500 and hiring a local installer.
Foam in any window properly done increases it's energy efficiency by.......very little.
I do like to see foam in cheaper windows where there is very little vinyl webbing as it seems to help condensation from forming on the inside vinyl when certain weather conditions occur.

Didn't you get the memo Sky...Window World is going after the high end market.

They are going to be offering this great leap in technology called "Fusion Welded". They take the energy from the sun and put it into your window.
