I was looking out my Schuco patio door and noticed....

...that my reflection in the sliding panel is larger than my reflection in the stationary panel. I went out on the deck to check it from the other side of the door and my reflection is larger and a bit distorted in the sliding panel. I checked the Schuco slider in my bedroom and both reflections are the same. What do you think is causing this????

The glass is likely bowed a tiny bit and it is acting similar to that of a fun mirror where a convex mirror would make you appear later and a concave would make you appear smaller.

That by the way is a complete guess...but an educated one.

Or... only stand in front of the stationary panel... it will make you look thinner.

Not too fat (6' 4" 230#)...I was thinking it may have something to do with the argon gas or possibly the Low-E coating. Anyone have any updates on the status of Schuco's intent to sell???
