I’ve been following these forums which have led me to Okna windows. I’m replacing 35 windows, 4 are casement, 2 pictures, and 29 double hung.
Seems like both the 500 and 800 series are great windows with not too much of a difference at least from an efficiency standpoint? I was quoted about $600 per window installed for the 500s and $725 for the 800s. Does that pricing seem in line? Are the 800s worth the extra $4,000 in total cost?
Thanks

In my opinion, yes. The 800 looks nicer with the handle and there is a good bit more material it in. It is super strong and I always want to defer to the stronger product in that comparison.

I agree and prefer the 800. A happy medium without scarificing quality would be to ask for the 600 Eco Pro.

If it was my own house I would use the 800DX.

I agree with the others, the 800 is superior. That price is on the low end of what you may find these days for a window that performs on that level, so it makes it an easy choice for me in this case... There are companies installing that window for 2x's that price every day, I'd jump on that deal if the company is reputable
