Windows in Wisconsin
Windows in Wisconsin
Glad I found this forum. I am looking for new windows for my house. I was thinking Pella, Marvin and Okna, but I found this line of windows called Provia.
I will be getting estimates for each one next week. Let me know your thoughts. Thanks.

Pretty broad spectrum of materials.
Performance wise, the Okna is king of that list. If you are okay with a vinyl or composite product, no reasonable reason to NOT use that product out of those on the list.

Re: Windows in Wisconsin
I just read the subject line while scrolling through and completely missed the Wisconsin part.
Only one shop to call if that is the case. He posts on here a bit from time to time, but look them up.
HomeSealed and ask for Brandon. Won't find a better shop in Wisconsin.

Re: Windows in Wisconsin
I am already working with a guy from there. I actually found out about Okna windows through this website after reading reviews. Then I went over to HomeSealed and spoke with a salesperson there who really knew windows and was honest.
I have HomeSealed coming for an estimate next Thursday for 10 DH, I large double slider. Then I have 2 casement windows in the Kitchen with fixed window in between the 2 casement. I am thinking of just making that a single slider if I can.
I am just worried how much this is going to cost, but I think that the value is there if I go with good quality windows and installation.

The Okna quote is $7,000 more than the Provia. Do you guys really think the Okna is worth $7,000 more?

That depends on if you are wealthy enough to do it twice.
Yes, the product and the Homesealed are worth it.

Marvin if you need a real wood interior, Okna if you don't. I'm not a fan of the Provia window
Re: Windows in Wisconsin
I have decided to go with the Softlight Elements. The quote is just over 4K cheaper than the Okna quote.

What model Okna and what were the comparables on installation like?
Depending on the total contract value, a 4K differential can be expected.

Hey Kevin, if you haven't finalized your decision feel free to reach out to me directly at brandon@homesealed.com. We find that we are competitively priced with that product when comparing apples to apples in model, options, and install details. I'm thinking that there may be something not lining up there, I'd be happy to take a look if you'd like... Or if you've already pulled the trigger, no worries there either and I appreciate the consideration.
