Hello,
We have windows that tilt in sideways, not from the bottom, and one of the latches is broken (the thumb clip is what is broken off). I am attaching a photo of what's broken and what one looks like that's not broken. I have been looking at videos online but they are all for awning tilt windows. Would this be the same process basically? I just am not sure how to slide it in from the bottom, as the broken latch is on the bottom of the window at the track.
Thanks,
Marlene

Re: Side tilt latch replacement
Pretty standard tilt latch. Do you know how the window manufacturer was?

Not sure if that shark fin/thumb part of the tilt latch is broken off or just popped out.
Yes it will replace like the DH videos you have watched. Stick a properly sized flat tip screw driver in the hole slide the latch up and pull in towards you.
