Great choice and I am glad they could break down all the pricing for you.

Due to some issues with the Okna quote, I am no longer considering them.

Going to see what other manufacturer's are available in my area.

Ok. Considering Okna again.

The salesman quoted $8549 for 6 windows and one patio door. He forgot about two hopper windows in the basement. Adding those at a discounted price brought the total to $9549.

The owner is going to come out this evening with the salesman and re-measure. Their goal is to try an honor the original quote of $8549. Perhaps we will end up with the Okna.

Backup plan is to look into Sunrise Restorations.

We were able to get everything worked out with the Okna dealer.

Thanks to everyone's advice.

We are pleased with how the situation was remedied. Very impressed with the owner and salesman in making sure everything worked out. Stand up business.

Great to hear. Integrity is important, and not always easy to find in this industry.

A couple of windows seem to be leaking air. The photos are from a FLIR gun. Can you tell me if this is normal?

What are the exterior temps?

Windows are going to leak some air no matter what. If then need to be able to move, they are going to leak a bit.

Nothing is out of phase with what I see there from the temperature gradiation standpoint.

Mid 30's. Some seem better than others. Could be wind direction. Candle will flicker.

Installer returning for some finish work this Friday, wanted to ask about the seals.

If you have outside temps in the 30's and the coldest spot on those shots is in the 50's, it is not likely that you are seeing much air infiltration. Pics look normal. Convection from the cold window will create some minor air movement.

Couple of things to check just to be sure:
-make sure that the weatherstripping contact from sash to frame is consistent
-check the square of the window by raising the bottom sash 1/4" and lowering the top the same. The resultant gap should be fairly consistent.
-Look in detail at the weatherstripping on multiple windows to ensure that there are no areas missing.
-One culprit that I have found minor leakage from in the past is the holes for the jamb jacks and/or screws through the side jambs. Once the window is completely secured, these can get a little caulk if they are a concern... Not necessarily standard practice though.

Beyond that, I'd have the installer take a look back over them to see if he notices anything as well, but again, everything looks pretty normal based on the pics.

Thanks for everyone's advice and reassurances.

Installer is coming out tomorrow (1/7/16) to replace the frosted glass in the patio door that was ordered by mistake, replace a screen that was ripped before arrival, check the window seals, and install a foot lock.

When the patio door was first installed, the installer was proudly telling us how great the three point locking mechanism was on the door. Turns out it does not have that.

We really weren't presented with our options, such as the multi point locking mechanism, foot lock, internal miniblinds, and their prices before we ordered. It would have been nice to spend a little more time on this discussion. I likely would have added a few of these things, even if it raised the price a little more.

Overall we are happy with the purchase. But there's room for improvement in the process.

While they are great in some instances, the internal miniblinds do make the opening size of the door smaller. I have had some issues on 5' SGD with the opening size being too small for one client.

The multi point lock is a nice option for security, but the foot lock can be added anytime.

Good to know foot lock can be added at any time.

It was supposed to arrive with the doors. Just received a call it did not.

I feel bad, things keep going wrong. At least they are trying to make things right.

Mistakes happen. It is how you handle them that matters.
