Atrium 3000

#1 Post by micscout »

I am sorry I am unable to figure out how to search this board. Can anyone give me an opinion regarding Atrium 3000 made by Viewpoint I think. I don't have a CFM number. Is it a medium level window. Is it good for Eastern NC? I am getting an installation estimate for 8800 for 22 windows. Sorry I am in learning phase here.

I wouldn't consider Atrium to be mid-grade, more like low-grade. For a mid-grade window, you might consider Simonton's 5500 or Prism Gold. Soft-lite, Sunrise, and Okna should all be available in North Carolina, and each have windows that are upper mid-grade that might be within your budget as well.

I actually just talked to installer again. He suggested Simonton Prism Platinum. Better that Atrium based on your post. Will google it.
Thx
