Obscured Rain Glass

#1 Post by skydoggie7 » Wed Jul 19, 2017 12:23 pm

How can you tell if your obscured rainglass window is actually tempered? The outside pane has the etching on it( it is not obscured) to show it being tempered, but there is no etching on the inside pane. How do we verify that as the inspector wants proof it is tempered to pass inspection? Thanks

Is this a new installation?

If so, can you call the supplier? Most will have a build sheet on the window that should suffice for the inspector.

I am feeling a little sassy...
you could break it and show him.
