Chicago Area Leads

#1 Post by hunterviz »

I am in the market for replacement several sliding patio doors. I have received 3 quotes from neighbor recommendations. All are using either Advanced or Alside (6100). I am now researching those windows and feel I can do better. I was looking for the recommended Dave (windows4U) but his company no longer appears to be in business??? correct me if I am wrong. Any other Chicagoland companies/installers I should reach out to. I am looking for a better quality door but would like to keep the price mid range as I do not envision staying in this home long term. Thanks in advance!

Oh, sorry to hear that. Would appreciate any leads you have. Really not happy with those I have contacted thus far and having a difficult time finding where some of the recommended products are carried. Went to a showroom this weekend that online said they carried Sunrise when I got they said, oh yeah- that is old online. We only carry Pella and Great Lakes now.

Yes that happens.
Call them first to confirm what they sell most and what they have on display.
Right now Okna has no one in your area.
When I did search in your area there are a lot of companies. Th difficulty is cutting through all the stuff to find the right 2 candidates.

Very good news. Homesealed is now servicing the city and north.
Brandon and his team are excellent.
My utmost recommendation is to reach out to them.

Hi,

I am looking for some recommendations for my SFH rental in the southwest suburbs of Chicago.
I believe Homesealed does not serve so far out.

Looking for a value priced mid-range product.
BTW, any information/experience with Sierra Pacific designer series (one company quoted me this).
Can't find much info about them here.

Thanks !

What is the project size like? HomeSealed will probably go a bit outside his normal range for web board folks.

15 SH and 4 Picture white vinyl windows. I can send pics and dimensions via email/message so he can arrive at a ballpark estimate. Is that allowed on the board ?
