Looking for help on deciding what windows to go with! Located in Illinois. This is for double hung full replacement windows. The Sierra Pacific contractor is combining some windows because they said it’d be cheaper. Turning two double hung windows into a large picture window, making 3 picture windows into 1 large picture window and making a half round window to a triangle. They’re saying it’s cheaper than ordering a half circle. The other companies did not agree with any of that. Between all of the contractors they also offer Alside Mezzo and Advanced Window Corp.
Sierra Pacific - $40,295 offers a 10% cash discount not included 28 windows
Pella 250 - $54,739 also offers 10% cash discount not included 30 windows
Vytex Potoma - $49,753 for 30 windows
Midway RBS replacement NOT full replacement - $38,945
The Sierra Pacific is temping for the price point but want to make sure we’re getting a quality window. Really need a window that lessens the noise and is obviously an overall good window. We have neighbors that let their dogs bark at all ours of the night so noise dampening is important. All contractors say new windows will help. Please give me any advice you have!! Thank you so much

Where in IL are you? Around Chicago and the northern suburbs you should have you pick of great windows. As you move further south it may be more hit or miss.
Of your list so far, the Vytex is the only product that I'd consider. Okna, Softlite (Elements and Elite), and the higher end models from Sunrise are other top vinyl products.

Northwest Illinois. I reached out to OKNA to find a dealer/installer and the company they recommended is hit or miss with good installation reviews. That makes me too nervous to use them. Any chance you have any company recommendations or do you service the Northwest suburbs? I selected companies based on reviews and these were the windows offered. After looking at the company that offers Vytex (I received a quote from them already) I see they offer Sunrise. I’ll ask for more information on Sunrise.
