Had a strange thing happen this weekend. Was at a friends retirement party, college friend saw me and proceed to tell me he just bought windows from a competitor because he forgot about me, how nice. Proceeded to tell me about it then said he was worried that at the final measure the price might change. This rarely happens with us because we are more technical about the project during the sale. The only time I like to write a change order in a new sale is when we make a design change that I see better suites the customer, usually saving the homeowner money. We are currently fortunate due to our small size that I can support the sales team that way.
