A service tech came to look at the windows and he changed the fin seal from 180 to 250. He said Simonton changed it from the heavier to the lighter because customers didn't like the way it stuck out from the window. Thanks Bill. I spoke to another contractor today and he said the Super Spacer doesn't make enough difference in energy efficiency between it and the Intercept to warrant the price increase. Spacers

How do you tell what spacer is in a window? If I order a Simonton with Super Spacer how do I make sure they didn't put the Intercept spacer in by mistake? Can you tell the difference by just looking at it?
