The contract is signed on installing Polaris Ultraweld Supreme casements with wood-grain interiors. Installation approach will be 'new construction' in late December. I will post follow-up comments on the windows, etc, post-installation.

We are very leary of what our end result will look and perform like, but also unsure if we will really ever feel confident with any selection...

That's a good thought.... Unfortunately, we have one window (east) that has rotted and the rest all need some TLC due to the water-staining of the wood (non-sash area). Even though we prefer the look of wood, we want to get away from the maintenance of wood windows.
