What did you decide? I'm wavering between the Custom Window Systems and Alside Sheffield.

I'm having 8 windows installed 72" x 36". I've been quoted the excalibur, which I know doesn't have a great rep. I've also had some contractors mention Custom Windows Systems, out of Ocala. Anyone have any experience with their products? One contractor mentions PGT, anyone with experience ...

I'm in the market for windows that will take advantage of the federal tax credit. I spoke to a salesman who was pitching Aside Excalibur double hung windows. After looking around this site, I see they don't enjoy a good reputation. I need 8 windows approximately 36" x 72". I was quoted $45...

Is this a good price?

I was quoted $450 per window for 8 - 36" x 72" windows. They are Alside Excalibur doublehung windows with Climatech elite glass and qualify for the federal tax credit. This is the total cost including taxes and installation. Is this a good price? I am in Central Florida.
