If Accu Weld was selling them for $1 each, I wouldn't buy them. I have sold a lot of AW and now all those people are out of a Warranty. AW went into bankruptcy and was bought out by a "Family own business". They kept the name Accu-Weld and even the 2900 as the series but anyone that bought...

Simonton windows (esp the 5500 series) are very good windows and look nice also. but they are a little more expensive than say the MI Xact 1650 series window. I sell both where I work, so I know both windows. I am in competition with Lowes here so I won't comment on them or the windows they sell. I ...

Jim, Just like others have said, More information would have to be known to make a correct statement. You don't say where you are located and that makes as much difference as what work has to be done. I always tell any of my customers to get at least three estimates on installation.
