I went out to a couple different places today and was able to find them for just under $2400 so now he is going to see if his supplier will match the price, if not he will use the place I found. It pays to shop around thats for sure.

Ok thanks guys, I guess I have to try to decide if the Simontons are worth that much more than the Harvey Classics unless you guys have any other suggestions.

Compared to nothing, is this a normal price for the Simonton 5500's? The guy giving me the price is claiming that they are his cost.

The Simonton price is from a contractor and the Harvey price is directly from Harvey.

I got a quote for $2900(windows only) for 9 Simonton 5500 windows with the following specs: contoured grids double strength glass half screens The average size is about 30x60. Also, I got a quote on Harvey Classics for $2100 for the same. Are Simonton 5500's that much better than the Harvey Classics...
