I have 24 windows. So that's about $60/window. I didn't think it was worth it.

Not as part of the Costco agreement with Milgard. It is extra. We ended up getting regular screens.

They advertise it as being thinner strands of fiberglass that are closer together. Lets in more light, and also the finer mesh keeps out smaller bugs. Costco is running a special where you get $500 credit towards Pureview screens. This only covers 1/3 of my house. So I would need to pay $1000 toward...

Milgard Pureview vs conventional screens

Anyone used Milgard Pureview screens? Any opinions? Is it worth it to pay $1000 extra on a whole house to upgrade to Pureview screens?

R4.0 glass is the e272 filled glass that is the lower end glass that most companies have.


I think we are going to go with Milgard Style Line. My wife really likes the look of these windows.

We live in Parker, co. A large 3 pane slider in my son's room stopped opening and closing. Part of the frame melted from the heat.
