Yes you can! It comes out exactly the same way as the operating sash. You remove the glazing bead (thin plastic or wood strips that hold the glass in place) These are located on either side if vinyl. Wood interior windows will have them on the inside. Back cut the sealant with a putty knife on all four sides and out it comes. I would highly recommend using a glass company to do this. If it breaks while installing the new piece they have to buy a new one. If you do it your back to the drawing board.
