Need help choosing window

#1 Post by kelvinsu »

Hello everyone - Need some help deciding which quote to go with and stumbled across this forum. Hope you guys can give me some advice.

I've been quoted 3900 for Milgard Tuscany series windows and 3700 for Simonton Daylight Max series windows.

I was under the impression that the Milgard Tuscany was a better window but the pricing is so close. Any recommendations on which window i should go with? The other was option i'm considering is the Milgard Style Line but i think that's pretty comparable to the simonton.

In S. California it is the Impressions, might be re-named in different regions. I like the Simonton for the cam locks and the standard low-e3/argon, but Milgard makes a good product here also.

I would consider those two products to be in similar performance categories. They are both pretty solid and well built units.
