I just got three estimates from them. Home Depot 6100 VantagePoint by Simonton. Lowes Pella 250series and Sears Weatherbeater.
With the prices being similar any suggestions or reviews on these particular windows/installers.
Thank you in advance.
HD v Lowes v Sears
Re: HD v Lowes v Sears
My suggestion is to get a couple more quotes from local window professionals, preferably dealers of the following brands (in no particular order): Sunrise, Okna, Soft-lite
The big box stores don't have the best reputation for leaving customers happy at the end of the job, and if the pricing was comparable with Sears, you may be paying too much for way too little.

No local were the highest. Lowes so far has been the lowest.

As Randy said, see if there is a sunrise, okna window, or soft lite dealer within 20 miles of your home.
The pella 250 is garbage in my opinion as well as many other pros's and way at the bottom of that list. Infortunately, the other 2 arent on top of my list either. If i had to choose one, it would be the vantage point but it is outdated and lacks in performance.

" we are to poor to do this twice" this is an appropriate saying.
Where is your project located?
How many windows and what specs( install type, color, options)?
How old is the house?
Do you need financing?
It is important to have a window with a true lifetime warranty with a < or = .05 air infiltration rating/test.

Good advice above. I'd check out some other options.
