We are planning to replace all of the original wood-frame windows in our 1963 house in central North Carolina with vinyl double-hung replacements. Information on this board has been very helpful in narrowing our search and, combined with separate research on the reliability of local installers, we're focusing on three products:
Sunrise Restorations
ViewPoint Series 6000 or 8000
Champion
(OKNA is another possibility, but the only certified installer in the state is a 2-hour drive away, whereas the others all have installers with good reputations much closer.)
All the existing windows are standard shapes and sizes, so we don't need to be planning for any special technical issues. We don't want to spend more than we have to for a high-quality product, but price is not a primary consideration. (We will, of course be getting quotes from all the companies, as well as local references.)
Any advice on the pros and cons of these three products would be very much appreciated.

Re: Sunrise versus ViewPoint versus Champion
The Restorations is the cream of the crop there. Quite honestly, I don't believe that the other 2 are good comps. Look at u factors, air leakage ratings, dp, etc for some objective metrics to compare.

+1
Restorations is really head and shoulders above those other two units.
