I have 13 year old wood casement windows in my home and want to replace them with vinyl double-hung replacement windows. I'm pretty handy and feel I can do this myself. Any tips or websites, books, etc that would get me more info before I jump into this. I can't see paying someone else $500 per window to do this.

This site is pretty good. If you are handy the window installation part is not really that difficult. The trim work/capping/wrapping is typically the more difficult portion of the installation and is what requires the skilled hand.huskerbill wrote:I have 13 year old wood casement windows in my home and want to replace them with vinyl double-hung replacement windows.
