We have replaced 3/4 of our windows with Sunrise replacement windows. We got the tilt in to clean ones, including a bay window and basement windows. Have to say that after 9 months no complaints. They look great, helped insulate over the winter etc... no drafts and easy to clean. The basement ones are VERY difficult to remove and put back in - bad design that requires 2 people to sweat while lining up awkward spring loaded hardware to reinstall. But the house level ones are a breeze to clean. Overall I recommend the product highly - my husband had done a lot of research regarding the insulating factors and UV factors etc. For the price these came up on top.

Just curious what style of basement windows you have? I can't figure out what window it would be to have spring loaded hardware and that you would have to remove the sashes.
