replacement window recommendations MN

I live in Minnesota and i am replaceing vinyl slider windows in a townhome - looking at Simonton - Heartland Elite - and Thermo-fit by Thermo-tech--any suggestions on which is a better quality? and also confused on which Simonton Series is recommended for cold climates--Each brand offers optional upgrades which ones are worth the mone????? HELP
