I'm not sure this is the appropriate forum, but I will ask anyway in hopes that somebody has the answer. Along with replacing my windows, I am residing my house with Hardie Plank. I am also having all my facia, trim and corner boards replaced. I have a few bids that include this work with Hardie Artic White trim. I have one bid using Kleer composite. Is one better than the other? What about the cost differential? I have searched the web and can't find out much information comparing the two. Any help would be appreciated and I'm sorry if this is a little off topic.
Thanks.

Re: Trim Question
Not really off topic.
Both are fine.
I prefer the cellular PVCs to the fiber cement personally.

Re: Trim Question
One concern at sometime in the future could be if someone wants to change to a dark trim color, some composites will not tolerate dark color due to solar heat gain.

Re: Trim Question
So I take it that the Kleer composite is very comparable to the Hardie?
