I have narrowed my choices down to these 2 windows. I really like the A series tilt in design over their 400 series windows. I really like the energy eficiency of the Soft Lite's. The prices I received from 2 different contractors are virtually identical, so I can choose either window. I will be installing 10 New Construction windows (about $1000 each), and about 20 Replacement windows at a later date. My question is which window is the best choice for this application? I want the replacements that I will be doing next year to match up well with the New Constructions I am replacing this year.
Thanks.

Based on the full/frame- new construction and the insert option later, SL Imp LS.

+1
The SL will be better suited for the insert application down the road.

Thanks so much for your input. It looks like I may have to go with the Soft Lites. Just curious about the Andersen A Series though. If I were to combine their New Construction and inserts a later date, the appearance would not be a great match?

If you stay the within the same model of window, the insert to full tear out/new construction variance should not be that dramatic if you trim them out similarly.

That difference is in the eye of the beholder.
Yes, you will see a difference in appearance and in operation.
