During the last thirty years I have had to replace almost every one of my double glass windows due to fogging. I kept the records and the replacement started out at about sixty dollars and have now gone up to 150 plus instalation. I have about five that need done right now. My home is brick with a steel lintel above the window. QUESTION?
can i replace the mayfair without cutting the brick? what about installing a thick single pane glass? I am pretty handy with tools, doors etc but have never done a window.
I will retire this year and can not afford the upkeep in the furture although I can right now. any suggestions would be helpful
