If I'm not mistaken the Simonton 6500 is handled by Home Depot. While the window is a pretty good mid-range window, the HD pricing is sorta expensive. If you decide that you want Simonton I'd urge you to find a direct Simonton dealer as I believe you could save substantial dollars by doing so.
To the best of my limited knowledge, Champion is a pretty decent window - however, most complaints about them are in regard to high-pressure sales tactics that use what are known as 'price drops' - i.e. -'buy today for this discount' and so on. The point is, if you decide to go with Champion, work them for the lowest price unless you want to give $$ away.
