I had both sliders and a casement mullpack windows installed. The casement was excellent in every way. The sliders fit was not as tight as the Traco sliders I had installed last year but were still exceptional quality.

I have had this same company install my windows each year for the last three years. This year was the only year I had a problem with them. They installed the aluminum trim with the wrong color. Took 4 weeks to fix it also they did the worst job of patching my siding I have ever seen from any contractor. The actual window installation although was with best I have ever seen. It should also be noted that I also work for Alside window company in Cedar Rapids.

These are HORRIBLE windows. A TOTAL waste of money. I want to rip them out and get something else, but I have 23 windows. Paid a small fortune for them and now they leak air bad! Our utility bills haven't been lower at all due to the windows which was promised to us. We are actually less comfortable then the old alluminum 80's windows we had. DO NOT buy anything from AMI, Alside, Enviroview. They are the same.

Installer was fine I guess, company kind of amateur, but they had the lowest price and seemingly the best warranty. I can't express how much I regret buying these windows.

Price Information

9300 dollars for 23 crappy windows. Double hung, vinyl, argon gas, low e...blah, blah, blah!!! They LEAK air..What good is all the other features if they leak. ALL 23 leak!

Stay safe but stay the course! Mmost contractors have adapted to social distancing by inspecting the job with the home owner at a distance and then emailing detailed quotes, including online video chat follow up.

Nothing more frustrating than having windows that develop fog between the panes. Especially when it doesn't appear the day you make the installer take a look! Great info from WoW.
