Let me say for the record AGAIN, That I do not get $1,000.00 per opening for a TPS, TP, white window. However you simply can not compare the price one pays in SC to that of one in NY for the same window. The cost of doing business in an employer hostile state like NY is astronomical. Insurance alone...

The "top rated" marketing/window dealers in my area have such type of overhead expenses. I personally know how much a new Harley runs every 2 years, $5K Rolex watches, the trips to Vegas every couple of months, and lets no forget about those box seats for all of Philly's major sports team...

Note that I didn't say I sold them for $900.00. However, most Schuco TP TPS windows sell for that or more. I know of a knucklehead in the south that sells TPS TP for $500.00

Gorrell only offers intercept. I don't like any simonton products. I have replaced far to many in my 30+ years in the business. Interesting. What has been the main reason for having to replace them? . Warped sashes, bad seals. Mostly 7 yr+ old windows. I would also say that gorell is not the best b...

There is always a price you pay for quality and with shuco you are getting quality. Alot of the price that you should consider is the company you are doing business. I would make sure that you have checked out the company althought most companies selling shuco are very good.I also know there are ot...

There are still alot of companies that do that.

Go with the 5300. The DP rating is better and it's an overall better unit.

Good luck!

Busy1, I and most of us here know exactly the point you were trying to make. It is my business philosophy to do for my customer exactly what you are asking of from contractors. If more people were like you then maybe the price dropping gimmick-laden salesmen would have to learn how to sell , instea...

TPS is used in airplane windows and widely used in Europe. I don't know of any American window manufacturer using it
