What kind of proper documentation should we be looking for? Milgard is over-priced and the Tuscany line comes with a "glass breakage warranty" that you are paying for big time. Both are quality products.

We offer 2 different lines of vinyl windows available with a "thermally reflective paint" finish. !0 year warranty on the paint and you don't lose the lifetime warranty on the glass. Generally speaking it adds about 60% to the cost of the windows. This is way less than fiberglass windows. ...

The Washington State AG just fined them for deceptive business practices.

Check the warranties.
My recollection is that WS is one of the few vinyl windows without a lifetime warranty.

I would add this one thing:
I feel that it's a lot easier to replace block and tackle balances when they do go bad.
