I have been interviewing window installers (turning out to be a full time job!) and ran across one who seems to be good - in business for ~30 yrs, A+ BBB, WC, etc. After lurking the boards, I wanted to talk to them since they sold Simonton. After measurement he is pushing Norandex (Reynolds?) ViewPoint 3000's - are these good windows? Would it be worth it to upgrade to the 5000, or 6000 series?
Also, I am in Memphis, hot and humid... these are replacement windows.
Thanks in advance,
gurlen

I do not know about Veiwpoint 3000, sounds like a private label agreement to me.
Stick with Simonton Plat.

Agree on Simonton Platinum /5500/9800 as only model with stepped sill. I prefer one inch glass package with super spacer. the thinner exterior glazing bead is less likely to hold water and dirt.
