I had no trouble with salespeople after weeding out the usual suspects. I have only good things to say about the folks I have interacted.
Andersen Renewal was not as expensive as often stated here, a good window, excellent dealer with the right reputation but no woodgrains, saleswoman was not the installer and could not answer some concerns in a way that satisfied me. So they were out.
A recommended installer offered Thermal Industries Euroweld, we liked his previous work a lot however we did not like the window's woodgrains.
Starmark was too thick in the frame.
So we are down to Gorell 5300, Okna 800, and Sunrise's Verde line with highest glass option in all comes down to $500 to $575 range for double hungs, per window, Okna cheapest Verde most expensive. Prices very close. Windows very close. U factors very close. Dealers all good reputations.
