I've learned a lot from this board. Thank you to all the professionals that participate!
I need some new windows and also need to have my exterior trim painted. I have vinyl siding but wood trim, and some of the wood is in pretty bad shape. Does getting new windows have a big effect on the exterior (or interior) trim? I'm thinking of replacing the wood with some kind of low-maintenance vinyl, aluminum, or whatever.
If I decide to do both of these (new windows, new exterior trim), how important is it to have them done together? I can imagine that there would be at least some reduced labor time to having it all done at once rather than separately, but is it a huge factor or just a minor one? And, if it's OK to do them sequentially, is it really important to do the windows first?
